Marcus and George, Looks like you two are wailing away on this '34 ! Looking forward to further updates. As to a body shop - how about a wanted ad in the Cl***ified Ads ? Also check the H.A.M.B O'Dex in the cl***ified.

You guys are gettin after it! Go see Sky or Charlie at the rod shop next door to Campbell Towing (West of CT) in San Jose for the body. Sky, the owner, is totally into 34's - you can check out his 34's when there. Charlie (does all his own work) won Best Mild Custom at the Santa Maria WCK's show this year with his 51 Ford Coupe - I can get you Charlie's ph # if you pm me. Are you going to take a chance at the next Goodguys Plesanton in Aug?
Nice front end. Good choice. Never was a fan of the tube axle. Keep us updated please. Tell George Hello! Haven't heard from him much lately.
Man, I hate to be "that guy," but... All that work in the name of good taste, and then multi-lug chrome smoothies? Or are those just mock-up rollers?
Cool... it seemed that way, but you know, SOMEONE just had to say it! Always liked this car, and I dig the changes you're making. I keep going back & forth on whether or not I want to put a flatty in my own '34, so I'll be watching this with some interest.
Thanks..The Flathead Idea was something totally radical to me.I've never really messed around with them all that much before and thought it would be cool change for myself. My original plan was to build a 392 Hemi or early Caddy OHV V8 again.
Flathead is due to be finished next month from Go Cat Speedshop.. Just ordered the Polished 40 Ford Column and drop from Limeworks today, got a repro 16" 40 Ford Wheel Ready to bolt on to it. http://www.limeworkspeedshop.com/store_columnsandwheels_40andbanjocolumns.html
Sweet project, I like the FLATTY decision as im doing the same on my build. I will be watching your progress!!!!
Some update pics for you: LimeWorks Polished 40 Ford Column,17" 40 Ford Wheel.Going to have to get a lower drop than 2".Mocking up the Reversed Corvair Box(Rileys Automotive).
wow, I totally missed this thread, Ive been following the build of this car since '05...even helped out alittle when it was in Ohio...Looks like your doing some good work to it! it always needed an I beem axle with hair pins. The new steering wheel and column drop looks good too
