True love can transcend time, distance, age, sickness, and even death. Sounds like you two had the real deal. Thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort. Sounds like she was a very special lady.

Today we go out to the Kingdon Drags. I went to get out my driver's gear and suit. Julie's driver suit was right next to mine. I looked inside the whole closest, hanger by hanger and it is not there. The pink hanger is there that it was on, but no suit. I am trippin out. My Julie is coming and riding with me THAT"S MY JULIE !

Julie at Home. The two Teak Gobbets were the ones we used to toast our Marriage in 1985. Some of Julie's ashes rest inside the frame rails of our Top Fueler.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I can relate to your loss because my Dad's oldest sister was 27 when she married and her husband was 67. They had 35 great years together as he p***ed at the age of 102 and never had a major illness and traveled the world together. Age knows no difference! Thinking of you!

Thank you for your caring thoughts. It was one year ago this all came down. I have been back on the many roads and places we had been remembering the GOODTIMES. Julie will always be in my heart.
Kingdon Drag Reunion in Lodi is my next event this weekend and will keep the flames lit for her.

Sorry for your loss. But I have to tell you that I'm inspired. I'll be 62 next month and for the last couple of years I've felt that I missed out on what I really love....racing. I've driven at New Hampshire and at Charlotte and hope to drive a friend's Land Speed Corvette at Loring. Sometimes I ask myself what I'm doing .... I think I'm too old to be thinking about racing. But then I read about someone like your Julie Lee and I realize that if there is something you truly love or want to do , then just do it.
