Tulsa newbie

Well, I been lurkin around this site for awhile...GREAT website.
You guys are very helpful and very very informative and I really appreciate all your knowledge.

Guess I should introduce myself.....
I am Danny from Tulsa. I have a 59 f100 short wide bed, that I bought from a fellow member in Brentwood Ca.....and just a few days ago picked up another 59 f100 long wide bed.
Some of you will know me as the Kwiklift guy.
I sold the company a couple years ago and now just kinda tinkering a little with the trucks.

Here are a few shots of the long bed, before and after lowering it...
I plan to do red steelies, wide whites, and some hand done patina....if I dont screw it up....lol

The drivers door and the left front fender appear to be the only panels that has had some work...the door is slightly wavy...but not too bad. All other panels are very straight..and supposedly has only 44000 miles, and from the looks of all the pedals and interior parts...it MIGHT be true...maybe...lol
It runs and drives very well, very solid truck.

292...with a wonderrful granny 4 speed. I need to get some paint on it and try to learn a little about the 292 from you guys...

Welcome to the HAMB, Danny. I know you don't remember but we visited quite awhile at the Street Rod Nats in Louisville in '03. I live in Arkansas now, but grew up in Tulsa. There are lots of hotrodders in Tulsa, Sand Springs, Ow***o, BA, Bartlesville, etc. Good guys to hang out with. There's an every-Friday hangout in Dewey, even. You need to go check it out sometime. straykatkustoms here on the HAMB can direct you to the place.
