Saw this at my local Meineke shop today. The shop owner is a cool guy, a traditional rod builder. He's building this one for his father-in-law, so it's not for sale. Morrison ch***is, Ford Racing engine, all the good stuff. Thought I'd share some pix. (Sorry for the ****py pix, the shop was kinda dark). Enjoy.

That's going to be a great reacher, as Grey Baskerville used to say. I like the idea of bolting that beautiful sheet metal onto a Morrison ch***is. Like to see the finished project.

....especially impressive considering that the original car was a unibody.

  9. Looking at that makes me want to push my car off a cliff and say f*** it. That is what I call high end. Kind of make me see I will never own nothing but junk.

I just noticed he put the LED tail lights on there... very disappointing, but still a great car. Tell him I have the real deal if he is interested.

That's what you do for a street rod.:D

Nice car but Ford crate motor and Morrison ch***is head it right down that path.

He's been at it for under 6 months, on and off between customer brake/exhaust jobs, etc. A local body shop handled the tin work and paint, while he focussed on the ch***is. I'll try to get more pix as he progresses.

I agree, not a fan of the headlights either. Round Lucas headlights in side the stock teardrop shape?!? Really ugly.
