I saw that "chain saw" when I was competing at the Squamish Days logger sports a number of years ago , and remember it cut 29" of douglas fir in 2.2 seconds. In the form I saw it had nitrious and the motor was all iron ,thats alot of weight to control but man was it cool to see. Rob.

 

Ya apperently its "Chuck Norris Approved." Haha.

 

That's a nailhead Buick. I thought I read that it's an aluminum 215, but I could be wrong.

 

i saw that at the loggers parade. One tough saw!

 

i reckon that's a Aluminium buick V8 too, looks too small and light for a nailhead!

 

Either way, I still want one haha.

 

I think I would build a stand or set it up on another log ...... oh yea ,,, a turbo ???

The saw that was used that I saw was a small block Chev with open ports no zoomies, at first I thought it was in the back of the guys truck for a car he had . That was until I saw the idler and bar set up and realized it was a chain saw..yikes!
