Check out "falcons done right" thread, a lot of cool rides. This is the end all, be all, thread for pics of falcons. Your car looks killer, can you give details about wheel/tire/trim ring set up?

Thanks! I did the 5 lug conversion and i used 15X5 smoothies, i rattle canned them myself, with mooneyes wheel spiders, hotrod style trim rings and bias-ply 5.00-15 tires with a 2 in whitewall...trust me, it took a lot of measuring to get 15's and fat WW's on it without the tires rubbing when i turned.

  5. Love your falcon MrFalcon62.

Any more pics? Carb set up looks good! Going for a similar look for my Aus model 65.

I've just picked up a set of 14"x6" 4-bolt smoothies and was wondering if they would clear, especially in the rear. What kind of backspacing are you running on your smoothies? I believe mine has a 4" backspace, I'm hoping the 2" sticking out won't interfere with the quarter panel.

    Thanks!

Nice lookin' engine. since the intake manifold is part of the head, how did you get a tri-power set up?

Offenhauser and Edelbrock both produced a bolt on 3x1 adaptor for the log intake. Offy's was still available fairly recently, but I'm not clear if it still is.

A decent fabricator can direct-mount 1bbl carbs too.

    Great looking car.

I have stock ford ranger 14x6 wheels on my car.I am going to be running the 4bar caps so apperance in not a big deal to me.My wheels are 4 in. back spacing and clear my quaters. The car has 185/70/14 tires in the pic,but will run 185/75/14 WWW when on the street.

I ran the Edelbrock 3-6-1 tripower adapter and three NOS gl*** bowled Holleys pictured in my avatar and can attest the little inline six roared when the progressive linkage activated the outer carbs.
