I stopped by the garage to hang out, and hrm2k was working on his car there. I took the opportunity to shoot a few pics and he was gracious enough to let me post them here for everyone to enjoy.
Do you have a real clean picture of you carbs and intake, a close up? TIA, I want to compare something.
Man i love this car! It's the blue and white one right? Every single aspect on this car is perfect.....Its very well thought out, i like the location and sleakness of the fuel tank. Thanks for the pics, very much enjoyed!!!!
Dang John, Anything to get your "T" pictured on the HAMB. Seriously though, the car is looking GOOD and I love those black and whites. Nice photos, well done..........Don from Lothian... That's So. Md. for you Northside guys. Hope to see you @ the Greaseball.
for once I can plead not guilty I will be at the grease ball. we are going to try a meet and greet at britishink's vendor spot. It would be nice to actually meet you face to face
Thanks for the compliments (everyone!)... Yes, this is the blue and white car. It is indeed awesome. And the good stuff continues under the car as well!
You know I'm kind of a low key guy. Sometimes I'm around and no one even knows.. One of these days I'm gonna actually join up on the Maryland HAMBers part of the site!.....I promise to track you down either @ the Greaseball or the Jalopyrama next month and introduce myself.....Don.
Very nice looking ride, I especially like the grill you made. I was trying to figure out if I could tastefully make a grill for my 28A pu and you gave me hope!
Generator repairs? Or just moving it out of the way to get to something else? I noticed it cause the upper bracket looked kind of cool with just round holes drilled in it.. Totally simple yet super cool on this car. Nice looking shop as well!
Generator bracket mods.......I like the way it turned out. My buddy Doug and I really like the way the garage turned out. A comfortable place to work. and Yeah Jay, the manic wall is a lot of fun. All the ladies on the wall came from a local welder supply T&A calendar.
Those black and white photos are really nice. What kind of camera did you use? Can digital cameras take B&W photos?
Cool shots of a cool Hamber and his car. Coming up to the Jalopy Drags in a couple of weeks? Don't forget your rule for the sleeping bag. Thanks again too for the Hamb badge. Will have it with me at the Armory show where you handed it to me last year.
Most intermediate level digital cameras can be set for B/W, sepia, etc. I use a Panasonic Lumix LX1, which has full manual capability (though I don't use it much). I have some customized some of the settings, and use an adapter ring to attach 52m UV and polarizing filters. Thanks again for the compliments, everyone. Since I don't have a HAMBtastic ride of my own (yet!), I'm happy to take pics of other cats' rides.
