So i spent about 2 months filling out paper work and waiting for a new vin number to come in from the state...after all my paper work was complete and i got the bond, my inspection officer told me to send it in.
its been 4 months since i started the idemnity bond paper work, and i sent my paper work to the main dmv office in raleigh over 2 months ago...
i called a few times to ask about it.

first time i called, they had lost my paper work (but found it laying on some guys desk) and the next 2 times i call they cant tell me a straight answer...
so im curious if anyone else on here has applied for a idemnity bond, how long did it take you to receive a final ***le?

NCDMV rules for bonds are listed on their website. I don't know how long it takes to turn around though. I would just stay on them and get the local bureau to help..

When I went through this I had to complete the build, DMV inspected it, that is another story in itself, and then I paid 100.00 for a $15.00 bond. Got the ***le shortly after the inspection. After a year I got a refund for the bond.
