Got some old CalCustom 9 fin valve covers in the mail yesterday. After an acid bath and some burnishing with fine steel wool and a br*** brush, *Instant Cl****. I love them!!!:D

I found a PCV and grommet that would fit into a starter wire conduit I had laying around. I drilled the back of the intake valley and mounted the standpipe in it by folding tabs over underneath with a chisel, siliconed in. Hopefully with the standpipe, I won't need a baffle.

Thanks, I had to change the intake, rad hose, etc. just to get to use these. I love them, now I need to go through and see what else I can replace with vintage.

You're not supposed to notice the billet water pump pulley.:) I had a hard time finding a pulley to line up, that was the only option i had at the time. Maybe I need to round the edges up a little and satin finish it.:D You got me scheduling the modification of the water pump pully for this weekend now.

And I'm a little too attached to HEI, it's too dependable.

I drilled a hole in the rear of my intake and threaded it so I could hard pipe in a pcv valve to the back carb riser.
Seems to be picking up to much oil because the pcv valve is now dripping some oil so I need to put a baffle in mine.

Well, that's why mine's up in a pipe. I hope oil won't splash up into the pipe. I'll have to keep an eye on it, I'm not saying it won't either.
