Hot Rods radiator for 26 roadster on A frame

Hey all, Iam putting a T roadster body on a model A frame. The frame has the stock crossmember in the stock location.I want to run my high T shell in the same location but a T or A radiator wont work. any suggestions?I would beleive this has been done many times.Thanks for any input. Paul

 

I'm doing something similar. I plan on shortening my radiator when I get to that stage.

 

Look into a 65-69 mustang.I ran a 3 core on my 29 model a....good luck

Thanks for the input.I think I didnt make my problem clear enough.Iam running an A engine in an A frame with the stock crossmember in the stock location.I want to put a T shell in the A location with a radiator that fits in the T shell and clears the crossmember.T radiators have too large of a lower tank to fit into the crossmember.Model A radiators are too narrow for a T shell.Dose any one make a radiator for this application or dose anybody know a modification. Model A radiators are not too narrow for a T shell. If anything they're a tad too wide. I'm running a 28/29 radiator inside a 1920 grill shell. It needs to be shortened to fit but it also needed a tab cut off either side and then the shell fit super snug all the way around.

Now, with my 26/27 T Roadster that's going to be on an A frame I'll be running a T shell and an A radiator. The A radiator is taller. I'll have to compare them to se if any other issues will pop up. I haven't done so because I'm still collecting parts for that project.

Are you referring to the thickness of the radiator or the width, i.e., from driver's side to passenger's side?

Also, there are dimensions for the Mustang radiator somewhere on the HAMB, which is a viable option (as has been mentioned).

Yes,the width. Inside to inside the shell opening is 18 and3/4 and the total radiator width is 18 I know it is not that much but it kind of looks funky to me. Do you have diferent dymentions than me? Thanks
