Nads I am crying inside. I only built the Punk because I really wanted a tri-five Chevy, but I couldn't find one since they are so rare and hard to come by, so I had to settle.

so i found out some info form the house of hot rod guys. the car has been dissembled and they are repainting the body, i dont know what color but the frame did get burn and from what i was told the fire followed the path of the fuel line and burn everything in its path. im sure the fuel line will be replaced with something fire proof. im just glad it didnt turn into another coffin car fire.

i will try to keep the hamb posted.

great news im here with the truth about what is going on with the car lets just say that i am very close to the car every day for the past month. the car did catch on fire because it was flooded. the body was taken off the frame because the owner wanted to get the car as good as it was when it came in as they try to do to everything at hoh as far as the costomers will let them.everyone knows that eac has a budget. the body is in the body shop to get the paint matched and the entire car will be resprayed the same color. the frame has some burnt paint waiting on the insurance co. to get back to look at it.a bunch of wiring got burnt in the fire and lets just say its tight under the dash with ac and wiring. the car is bad ass and im a huge fan of it!! if everyone of us looked at a car we would all find different ways we do things or would have done things. i invite anyone that is close to mansfield texas to stop by and take a look at the shop. i will keep you updated

we are currently waiting on the insurance company to show up so show them the frame damage. as for our taste and the braided cable you guys gota remember that these cars arent ours we try to sugest thing but in the end its the owners choice what to build and what to put on these cars. old saying dont shoot the messenger same principle goes. we have a 31 chevy 5 window in our shop now needs work but a bad ass start to a cool ride check it out txhouseofhotrods.com
