...always have, always will; it becomes a habit. ...there's a factory in a town north of here that has those "chrome" windows (sun block film) and things reflect really well on those. ...I'll bet they'll be pics up on here tomoro; I've taken some but not handy rite now.
Ok I'll deny it. What I really like to do is get into down town KC and listen to my pipes echo, tunnels are nice also. But I still look into reflections on occaision. I have about 16 years on you.
Pure noise, the tunnel out at the speedway is great! I was in front in the 25 Dodge with the wife following in the 33 Ford . My son was with me and we hear all hell break loose behind us at which point he looks suprised and said "Mom!!!! I can't believe she did that!!!!" It was the car behind her, good laugh on that one.
Hell yeah. My caddy always looks lower moving. There are at least three places in Richmond that provide a nice look back. I also have a few bridges I run under on the regular just to hear those cherry bombs sing. Why can't every day be a day off for cruising?
lol, I went to the gas station in my daily (80 Olds Cutlass) went in paid, and then came out to pump... looked at both sides of the car for about 5 minutes trying to figure out where my gas door went... Then I remembered it was behind the license plate.... I've owned the car for 5yrs..... anyways.. I'm guilty of the reflection deal.. my phones full of pics.. that and rappin' the duals under bridges.. always gets me all excited... Oh and then hearing my subs echo in parking garages (that's a bit ot though.. but fun!)
No, I never do this. My truck is charcoal coloured & all that shows up is the wheels. My wife's car is black & all that shows up is the wheels. My son's truck is black & all that shows up is the wheels. My project is red but I don't have any plate glass in my garage. But I never do it anyway.
The tunnel up on Love pass on I-70 is the bomb. I love to go through it and just let whatever I'm in sing. A mile of pure unadulterated noise. better a carnival ride. Now if they would just put in some mirrors I'd make it an annual pilgrimage.
This is a mandatory proceedure when you're driving a Hot Rod... or any cool car for that matter! When I drove around town with my girlfriend... I would catch her watching us in the store windows and I'd ask her if she was window shopping and she'd say that her hair looked messy... but finally she would admit how cool it looked riding in a Hot Rod! That way you can "smile" when you see it moving from the outside... unlike the day you sell it! I loved setting off car alarms... bet Mike can't do that now...! Hahaha!
Guilty, and I also recommend it to folks that I've just lettered cars for. They usually already are headed for the mainstreet with the big windows in our small town, gotta' go profiling
I love cruising the strip at night and seeing my car's reflection in the windows. It makes a good echo for exhaust notes too. The strip in my town is pretty cool-looking, the county courthouse is in the town, and the town-square has recently gotten some curb appeal. I'll take pics some night.
We have several old stores in our downtown that still have the big windows...a old buddy of mine coined the term "looks good in the window" about 40 years ago..and we still say it today...just can't keep from looking..
I pretend to be looking at my cars reflection in the windows, but Im really looking at the girls in tight jeans or short skirts
One of the highlights going to and from work -- always looks cool. Love underground carparks too -- always sounds cool. Grow up??? No way!!!
