Worked a trade with my Chevy II "Deuce" to get this steel "Deuce" , small block, t45 5 speed, 4:10 gears. British Racing Green with Tan Leather.

Fun Car, my indoctrination was over 250 miles in 50 degree rain from Des Moines back to MN. Not cold enough to take the grin off my face.

It has side curtains, and I really should have stopped and put them in, my side of the car was not too bad, but the passenger side where my Dad was riding was down right cold. I didn't realize until we changed drivers for awhile.

The 70-80MPH Roosters aren't that bad. The 15-20MPH ones are the ones that meet in the middle of the car, from every direction.

Green is the new black.... Remember the 33 Plymouth coupe? It's not as stout as that car was, but this is no slouch.

    Going to St. Peter??

  11. That must have been some kinda nice Chevy II!!!!

    Great roadster. Love it.

Nice looking roadster. I've never seen your ChevyII but if it brought a straight across trade for the Deuce it must have been a killer, Congrats, now you'll know what it's like to have Deuce Fever. No known cure, best to just live with it.

  16. Wow, that is one great looking roadster. Drive the wheels off of it before all of that funky white stuff starts accumulating on the ground up there. I get a chill just thinking about driving that fast in 50 degree temperatures in the rain.

  17. What did this chevy II look like. Is it the white one in the background? must be a killer sleeper or you came with a big wad of cash.

Nice roadster. Must have been one hell of a Chevy II.

  25. Damn Eric, you hit a home run! It was worth the wait! Nice Deuce and you will never wipe the grin off your face after our next Reliabilty Run in the Black Hills! The you'll have to do the LA Roadster Show trip next! The car is perfect and the color is just right - its almost like a black green. I wouldn't change a thing! Great trade and better yet, no cash out of pocket. With a little more work you can get her sealed up for those days that are cool and wet. They are nice and cozy with a heater and when you seal it up.

Killer score!!! When is the St. Peter swap this year? It'd be great to see you and Todd again, and scoop too if he shows up...I'll make the trek down in my '63 Dodge and hopefully score some goodies for her...and there's a quick cure for the 15-20mph rooster tails, put your foot down harder ;)...hahaha...
