No work on the 'Not Quite The NealinCa Special" this week.
So here's some images of a spinner ( that's what us Aussies call '49 to '51 Ford shoeboxes) I did many years ago.
It was inspired by the sketch Steve stanforddid in R&C way back and was built way before Billy Gibbon's Copperhead.
Sorry about the images, I really have to practise taking shots of my models! Geoff aka Whodaky

Nothing to offer this weekend but a BTT!

I like that one a lot....Stanford is a great designer, you've executed it very well.....did you make that from the short coupe roof version or the longer sedan roof car?

  3. I haven't really done anything new, but maybe this will make me pull the finger out.

Here's the latest stuff I've been working on.

I've since found an old AMT '32 roadster kit which I'm going to use the ch***is out of. Not really happy with the chanelled A look.

Really gotta pull the finger out and get this one done. I'm thinking Candy Green with gold lettering of some sort...

Is based on the AMT coupe, K&R. Unfortunately my lousy images don't do it justice.
Yes and I reckon Steve Stanford is on of the best in his field.

Here are a few I have built recently.

    This one is a 1/25 or 1/24th, I can't keep track, plastic.

This one is a diecast 47 cad, 1/18 scale. I cut down the stock plastic top that simulated a convertable top.

    Ha Ha, that's good.

Actually that name on the door gave me some trouble. When I finished drawing up those decals for one side of the car (Illustrator) I then mirrored it all for the other side. It wasn't until after I printed them out that I noticed you can't mirror letters.

    Another 1/18th diecast.

Mike I love the Cad. I boought that model many years ago for the wheels and have always wanted to do a custom with what's left. Your model may inspire me. Actually I reckon if I had 20 pairs of those cad wheels I would find something to put them all on!
Maybe next Sunday I will show images of what I did with the wheels off the cad, although one of the cars 2 of the wheels went on I have shown before. But tht was before the regular Sunday Model Posts started. So I guess I should !
