rained a bit today. show was ok. some real nice cars, and one with an axe sticking out of the fender. heres some pictures. .
please tell me that is just a phrase you made up.. tell me someone didnt really add an axe to their car...
haha.........nope. axe in the front fender of the 'farmer truck' or whatever the hell he named it. the axe was on the drivers side fender. prob. because it would've looked silly on the p***enger side. pictures to follow.
Damn, I generally keep my thoughts to myself. I believe to each there own, it's your money. There are No rules to build your car by but What the F--K?? If this is the future of our Old Cars and what's left out there to build there isn't much hope. I hope the next owner has a little more respect and the current Clown get's back on his John Deere and stays away from Vintage Tin. The Wizzard
An you thought rat rods were cool....axe rods, damn, what a great imagination. How about a cement block through the windshield, now that would be REAL COOL. Poor old coupe.
be nice he balanced it out nicely with the red-top optima, gl*** see-through fuel filter, velocity stack air filter and sbc
Well the rooster with trick axe in the fender is happy as his dumb junk tacked all over the car worked and made us all take pictures to "Look at my car". Were there dead mice in it too?
The blue coupe is from the same town i'm from his name is Jim Barnfield real nice guy my dad grew up with him. Last year his roadster got in the street rodder top 10 at the same show.
You guys from out West have no clue. It's obvious he must drive a Case New Holland, nobody with a John Deere would have such poor taste........
Oops, Your absolutely Correct. I actually own a John Deere and should have known that. Glad you corrected that.
I saw the blue coupe at Quincy, its really nice, a tad bit street roddish but its really well built and the fit/finish is outstanding
the nice cars heavily outweighed the ****py 'shock value' cars, but there were a few there. im not sure if the axe car had dead mice in it, but i think it had everything else. and that blue coupe was very nicely done.
the blue coupe with the scallops is also from where i live here in kewanee and is a real good guy. Great little car, i love seeing him running round town in it gives me alot of inspiration to get mine finished and on the road.
