Swapmeet SCORE!!!

Just picked up 6 Stromberg 97's at the local swapmeet, all crome, but in need of kits and screws. Not bad for $80. Also picked up a running Honda moped for $160.

QUESTION, What are the extra tubes from the bowl to the inlet for?? I've seen that before on some other 97's. Is it just another bowl vent to stop them from sloshing? The ones I saw were from a serious racer. Alcohol fuel related?dumps? Would be neat to know. Thanks

 

Good finds are always a pleasent suprise, I found a box of 4 near mint condtion (matching) early 1950's ford hub caps for $5. Somethings you just have to buy and see what comes up.

 

Great find! A bout 2 years ago my buddy got a 6 carb McGurk intake for a SBC & 7 Stromberg 97's for $100, we all just bout crapped ourselves when he showed it to us. Know I want to know how your going to hook all 6 up to that Honda!!!
