I finally got my 15 x 4s cleaned-up. I talked my buddy 334 Charlie into turning the lips for me on his lathe. I'm working on a pair of 15 x 6 Ansens for the back.

  4. Here's a set of Wells Foundry mags that were early Canadian wheels that the South Western Ontario drag racers used for a very short time. I believe the Wells Foundry here in London Ontario only made these mags for about 2 years.

This is a shot of George Gray who was better know as "Ontario George" with Wells Foundry front runners. Great topic.

Awesome car! Those wheels look like the American LeMans wheels.

More Mach 8's. The fronts were 4 1/2" wide ones I had in the mid 70's. Kinda wish I had them back.

yeah they are pretty neat and in great shape i never saw any before either i looked all over the net and asked a bunch of people about them. the bolt pattern is 4 1/2 guy was selling for his neighbor and claimed the wheels and hemi magnesium crossram i bought came off a 1968 hemi cuda drag car that he wrecked in 1969 and the wheels/intake been sitting in his shop ever since.

  13. Those Keystones are awesome! I have never seen them before, I wonder how many they made.

American Racing Pro Series Torq Thrust bolt-on fronts, not vintage but cool. Look more like T-70's than TTs.
    Available in 15 x 3 1/2". Only $741.95 !!! each  from Summit Racing.
"These wheels are designed for racing only, they are not for street use." Yeah so were Halibrands pretty much.
"......one-piece, forged design. These 5-spoke wheels not only look great, but they also exceed SFI spec 15.2."
Forged, yet the street wheels are low pressure cast, why can't they be used on the street?

Sorry to get off the vintage wheels, now back to the cool old shtuff....

How about some aluminum 12 spokes? Performance Machine for Harleys that I started converting to use with modified 48 Ford spindles.

i bought these wheels and brake kit to fit early ford spindles in 1977 for the grand total of £656, from performance machine. i have never used them. i was 17 years old. the time has come to put some tyres on and use them on my current project that you can see in my album

Finally got my wheels finished. I bought the 15 x 4 magnesiums at the Big 3 about five years ago. I gl*** beaded the paint and grime off. Then my friend 334Charlie turned the lips on his lathe. Last year my buddy Dave gave me the 15 x 6 Ansens. I blasted those and turned them myself on Charlie's lathe. Finally decided on a color to paint the spokes. Now it's time to polish the lips again and get some tires.
