I dig Hot Rods. Always have. My problem was that I never had time or made time to sit down and commit myself to a hobby like this. Eight years in the Army and nine in my current business....married with 3 kids.....kinda ****ed up the clock and any loose change I may have ever had. After five years with this company and a couple of promotions I kinda figured they wouldn't fire me so I bought a house here in Houston. The house has a garage. A big one. So.....long story short.... Looking at a 23 T Tracker down the road. Looks good so far. I pulled directions for So Cal Speedshop, which is located about 5 minutes away convientently enough, and I drove down to find where Chuck Barrett works, since someone on the board recommends him for locating "potential" rods. So far this board is paying off in spades. I don't have the skills yet to build from scratch and I'll admit it. I'll have to get me a runner and rely on advice from here. w00t! Hoping to have something roadworthy for LSRU this year.
Weloome from Australia, you may not know how to build one yet, but hang around here and you will soon enough!
We can school ya quite well here.......aw ****, can't say that any more....Welcome anyway!!-MIKE By the way, good choice on the 23, that's what I'm learning on.
I'm afraid to think that Texans may be taking over this board...guess that's OK as I'd rather you all stayed in Texas anyway...there's already too many Texans in ColoRODo !!!! FWIW, welcome to the House of HAMB...next thing that'll happen is you'll get that '23 and you'll get itching to change it...all you need do is ask...and you'll get about 4,678 different opinions on HOW to change it!!! That's why this place is the best! R-
