October 23rd will be the return engagement for the Jalopyrama Hot Rod Show at the Annapolis, Maryland Army National Guard. Although the show is rain or shine, this year it will be all SHINE! We've filled the Armory again with mostly unseen vintage Hot Rods, Customs & Vintage g***ers, some of which haven't seen the light of day for over 40 years!

Every year we've managed to pull the cars in from out of nowhere and some will be greatly surprised to see what we have in store this year.

Not to give the venue away but we have committed hot rods from Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware plus... So don't be sidetracked the Jalopyrama has showcased some of the most historical hot rods from the East Coast over the past 6 years, and we're continuing. Remember the Guy Hawkin's '32 Ford P/U g***er??? [IMG]

See ya' at the Jalopyrama in historic Annapolis, Maryland October 23rd!

Great show for some great causes. Mike and his crew work very hard to bring us one of the premier traditional shows on the East Coast. Come on out and support the effort. You won't reget it......Don.

Great to hear from everyone, thanks for all the compliments and encouragment. My wife still insists that Jalopyrama central needs to be out of the house and into the garage, BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME!!! If you miss the show this year you'll be SORRY!

If your coming and intend to spend the night better call the Annapolis Sheraton NOW for reservations. check the web site for hotel info: www.jalopyrama.com

Would not miss it. Will the swap meet spots be reserved if they are pre-paid?

This is one of those shows that I want to attend really really bad. I wish I could have gotten my car done by then so I could drive it up.

  19. Hey 61Cad, are you going it alone or in a group. I would like to drive my '51 Ford mild custom & tow my 13ft '49 wood race boat, but feel better in a group just in case of break downs:mad:. I live about 23 miles east of Sinchester, VA on Rt50.
I got a couple of small parts to sell also, but don't want to do the vendor thing, I would like to be able to walk around and see it all for a change:D.

We go as a family group (two trucks).

If you want to follow us down, we will leave Winchester around 6:00 AM. It's best to take Route 7, to the Greenway (tolls) to 495 north, to 50 east.

It took us about an hour and a half last year.

We stay at our vendor spot all day. So, we can keep an eye on your stuff.

Sorry, Art. There will be no preferred parking. Last year we had over 250 cars on the lot in the rain. We expect even more this year in the sunshine! Gates open Saturday at 8 a.m. Everyone will have to park where they are directed to by the Rusty Nuts members and ***istants. Thanks for understaning. :)

ArtofHotRod, sorry no early spotting or entry into the Armory during set-up (insurance regs). Day of show you'll have to park where instructed due to the limited parking area inside the fenced Armory lot, we have to be organized to get the maximum amount of hot rods onto the lot. If we allow random parking by everyone, we'll have a real mess and a lot of pissed off guys/gals. So everyone please park where directed. If you don't like the rules...
    Thanks, J'Mike
Oh, Norwell should be there for poster signing but get there early - posters are limited and so is Jeff's writing hand!!!

Tindall's coupe and Joe's 57 will be on the floor. Sheraton was suppose to have opened up the block of rooms through tomorrow, October 5th with the discounted rate. Try calling again and ask for Shelly Hartman - she's the chick I dealt with to get the rooms/discount.
There is a Holiday Inn Express about two blocks from the Sheraton, you could try that one if the Sheraton is full. I'll check with Shelly tomorrow. J'Mike

Dig the ride, love the show!

Sure hope there will be another large gathering of Hambers like last year
. It was great to put faces to the names and made a great group shot........... Look for Slim and sign the banner!

Bring a few extra coins too as I know a little something about the auction and it should be better than ever.

Rooms are still available as of this morning. Finally booked mine, nothing like waiting until the last minute.
