Big Block In a 29 Ford Truck

I know it will need a big shoehorn, but does anyone have any info on putting a Big Block Chevy under the hood of a 29 Truck? Any thoughts? Who has done this already?

 

Are you running fenders? If you are I think that's going to be tough. You would have to set it back in the firewall. It's not going to leave much for interior space.

I'm running my 34 truck fenderless and I extended my frame 4" for my BBC. I think I could of got away with 2" but I gave myself a little extra room.

 

Yes on the fenders and thats what I thought on the firewall. Thanks for the ideas and comment
