    more updates....
so, the engine is in, but it seems pretty far forward of the firewall, that is a little scary, since I was afraid maybe I had screwed up the whole frame swap thing. But my measurements seem right...

Once I get the project moved to Seattle and have some time, I will move the entire engine back 4-6 inches, that will mean a new tranny crossmember, but easy enough, should also provide plenty of room for radiator and AC condensor.

Today (only 105 degrees) after work, my friend Jeff came to help me hang the sheet metal. That went surprisingly well. Very slight clearance issues with the inner fender wells, quickly dispatched with a cutoff wheel.

So the fenders and hood are back on, it looks like a car again. And it looks like I will be able to graft the front section of the old frame on and make it my front frnder mounts and have it line up my bumper, which will save me a bunch of effort.

I wont know for sure until I get a set of wheels with the right spacing and get it all lowered to the ground under its own weight, but it even looks like the wheel centerlines are in the right place!!!

The wont be any updates for a bit, as moving has to take over my life now. Check back in a few months...
