There is ALOT going on this weekend in SoCal. We will be spending Sat at Cruisin 4 a Cure. I know this is a muscle car/ street rod fest but it is still a good time cruisin, for the cure. Look for us in my off topic muscle car.
Lance,Can you come and go as you please at that deal. I hate to drive in at a certain time and leave when they want you to. Ron
**Read Before Reading Any Further, THIS IS MY OPNION** Anyone on this board that believes in what it stands for, that is not going to the LB MOTORAMA and is local this weekend should immediatly no longer log on here. This coming from a person that knows Debbie Personally (who runs Crusing for a cure) and likes the show she puts on.... but there is no excuse not to be a part of the LB MOTORAMA
NOT SURE? I know the hours for participants are 4:30am and shut down at 5pm OTE=BigDogSS;5674522]Don't forget those awesome PT Cruisers and MINI Coopers!!![/QUOTE] last year we spent an hour laughing at em, most fun we've had!! its a long weekend plenty of time to do both? I built my teenage son an ElCo and he wants to cruise.
The first and ony time I attended, you could leave when you wanted to. However, it took forever falling in behind the cruisers and I could walk faster than the cruise went. Never went back, my wife thought it was too boring..........
It's for a good cause, but it's BORING!!!! I expect to read here on monday "Wish I would have gone to the Motorama instead!".
AND a free prostate exam! - before someone pics a keyboard fight witgh me-all kidding aside- im sure a great show and each year im sure someones life is saved-
Crusin' for a Cure IS for a great cause, prostate cancer is the male version of breast cancer. You may joke about it and think it's a waste of time but I just hope you don't loose a good friend to the disease, I did...
my dad had to battle it and he beat it. it is no laughing joke. at least they are trying to do something to make a difference and to help find a cure. some day one of you so called bad asses will get it and it will knock the bad ass right out of you.
Did I miss something? who was making fun of Cancer? they said the show was boring! I am going to the Motorama and showing my car that was inspired by a good friend that died of Cancer this year! and I am also taking care of his T-Bird and help sell his book at the show...I agree the Cruising for a Cure is for a great cause...I don't think anyone was trying to be a "Bad Ass".....
Debbie is just the best person and all you folks who help her. Its not all about the cars. Its a lot more about your personal health.
Not in Love with PT Losers or Mini's. It's a lot more the that! We saw some real nice cars and trucks. I think its one of the best shows in Southern California. Plus ALL the $'s keeping us healthy. Not one dime goes to the show or Debbie Brown or her staff of local car guys.
