Welcome to Edmonton. If you are able to travel around, there are some great sights. We have Aldon auto wreckers in Lamont (1000 vintage cars), Reynolds Alberta meuseum in Wetaskawin (vintage cars, bikes, planes, etc). You can also go and visit Reg Hilgardner on winterburn road and 111?ave (first driveway north of the winterburn arena), he has about 800 old vehicles and is usually up for some bench racing.

Welcome to Edmonton. What brings you up this way ? Hope the sun hangs around a little longer for you and we don't get any snow just yet.

Not sure your warm Texas blood could take it. :D

My wife Jan is from Texas, near Dallas.

  7. welcome, hope the weather holds while you are here.If you want to tour Aldon Auto,pm me anytime. We are the largest salvage yard in Alberta,100 acres full. Also a small private collection of old cars, very cool if you have time.If you can ,call Kustom KIng in spruce grove near edmonton,Murray has an unbeleivable collection of cars and his shop is awesome

I must agree on all three of these choices ( and Lee @ L.G. )
but I will add this - If you go to the Reynolds Alberta museum also go to the old Stan Reynold's museum a couple of miles away, Stan has been collecting cool stuff since WWII.
ps - Aldon's is closed on weekends
