im trying to decide on my exhaust... i like opinions... i have the ford 352 FE and im thinking im going to do the bellflower exhaust with some 12in smithy's but i also might just want to run strait pipes from the front wheel wells and just be obnoxious...:D

a pair of Brockman Mellowtone Mufflers through 2" duals with Bellflower Tips would make that FE sing!

Well you certainly would be Obnoxious. Many of those coming into HotRods feel they have to loud to be "Cool" and it is really the opposite. It is about sound!!! Good sounds not just loud noise!!!
straight pipes will get you noticed - Mostly by the cops But hey its your call

i have cherry bombs on there now in front of my diffy and they flow into 20inX3in tipps and it sounds pretty throaty but i want something with a little bit more wrap to it bu yea i dont really want to be obnoxious...
i have the stock manifolds but would like headers and run 2 in tubing and its just deciding on what size gl***packs if any to give it a that deep raspy sound.

very similar to this but i feel like its missing something. this guy is running straightpipes.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFY5wasnh_0

I traded for a car that had sidepipes with baffles. I drove on the freeway, 35 miles one way. That was enough for me. I had full exhaust installed. I don't know how kids do it without ruining their hearing.

The one thing I hate is when some guy *****es because he got cited for loud exhaust.....

Had a '54 ford with the "new" Y block V-8 with 26 inch gl*** packs, It was nice and mellow still throaty, with no raspy rap when you let off. never got the attention of a black and white.
