After preparing for the baby to be born for 9+ months. It was very much worth it. My baby girl was born at home on 1/21/05 - Reese Phaeton Michael (RPM) Super stoked - Glad I was able to get some pre-parenting /husband advise before it happened here. Time management is a delicate point between the house , the wife and the kid letalone car projects. Thanksto those who offer O/T advise on subjects such as this HERE. Being able to prepare ahead of time is probably the only reason i will be able to continue to have cars ect.
Congrats! I'm pretty much in the same boat. Mine's 5 months old. I've got about 12 years to get the shotgun ready.........do you think 200 round' of 00 buck is enough?
Congrats! My daughters are 16 months and 7 years old. Have fun! I just bought a nice folding stock AK-47 that will be getting cleaned EVERY time a boy comes over. (I might even have to get out the whole arsenal! )
Thanks for the kind words. I cant wait to teach her all the fun stuff in life like surfing and welding. Her grandpa in super excited also. I married his daughter who has been in the garage or under a hood since she could walk. Before Reese was born everyone asked if it was a boy or a girl, I told them it didnt matter, either way they'd know how to weld by the time they are 10. Life just keeps getting better, now if I could only find a new car project.- btw- the home delivery went perfect- we were glad not to be in a hospital.
Congratulations! Mine is just over three months old now. Just getting over a rough cold. Be warned, seeing your little baby girl cough is about the least fun thing you'll ever do. I suppose dating will be at least as bad. Wow your wife is cool going along with the Phaeton and RPM thing. Nice name regardless. My cousin middle-named his girl Brooklyn because he's an old Dodgers fan. And a friend of a friend actually named their boy Optimus Prime. That's about where I draw the line.
You are blessed, all of us new dads are. But I had no time to prepare for my boys. I'm just gonna wing it and enjoy them.
Congrats on the wee one! I'd be a nervous wreck if I had a daughter......whew, I'd have to get a second job just to afford all the wrenches I'd lodge into some punks head everytime they got within a 100 yards of her! *Hey, easy with that shotgun! Might be my boy you shoot!* You should get her into junior dragsters, my boy starts racing in 3 more years!!! x Brandy
Congratulations. My little girl is almost 5 now and my little boy is 2. Kids are great when they are raised right, and a pain in the ass when they're not. Mine are, and are a lot of fun to have around the shop to. Good luck. W Vaughan
