Yeah, seems like it might be electrical, loose wire somewhere. My headlights turned off for a second when I got on Meridian and the car cut out a bit. Time to the winter tear down. I looked up the miles we put on this weekend and it came out to 211 miles. Not bad for a rod knocking, collapsed ring flathead that is overcarburated. Thanks for the hospitality this weekend and all that food! Good times.
id like to see your belvedere myself. i just primed a 53 coronet that i chopped. id like to see what you did with some mopar steel.
So. I just got everything i need for the paint! Hopefully see some progress soon. I am tearing into it tonight. Getting it tore down for paint and a few fix-its. I am replacing the deck lid, and redirecting the fuel neck to the inside. Anyone got some advice on what to do for that? Rubber hose or something? Any advice on that is great.
update got her all naked the roof prepped and masked then sprayed when i sprayed it I got into a big hurry cuz the shop was so hot. I sagged a huge 3 foot line in it. Fukn metallic so I have to sand it again. Damnit. The new plan so far. A bit different, but close to what I want...
I like the new rendering! Nice work. If you plan on putting the filler tube in the trunk you absolutely need to consider SAFETY!!! Check the main board for threads on this. I don't have to tell you that things can go boom...
Very very impressive work! I wish I had the eye to look at a more door (or even a two door) and see enough ideas to even try something like this. Awesome car. Lots of classic looks and still doing things your way. There are things that I would want different, but that's what hot rods are all about. We should all be building what we want and not worry about what others would want. When I say that there are things I would want different, don't get me wrong. If the keys were tossed to me I would drive the tires off that thing, get new tires and drive them off! Very cool car. Saying I would want different isn't like saying I don't like it.
