flathead intake uses.

I have a shot a picking up a edelbrock flatheads slingshot intake for free but their website says it only fits 32-48 models. Some of their intakes fit all years through 53.

Can the early intakes fit the later 49-53 engines

Yes you can make it work... If you can pick up a sligshot for free, who cares? Is it an original one or the repop?

 

All the flathead intakes fit one another but the v8-60 is its own model. And there is no such thing as a edelbrock slingshot v8-60 intake.
