This is what Celine Dions personal friends look like...

Ok, so I still sling paint.. This piece has collected dust since early this summer. It was originally intended to be a coverpiece for the HAMB-CD (hence the looney music-oriented speedstuff). And this is the reason for this post; I spoke with Big A who was going to make the CD, and he says he cant manage putting the money needed on the line. Its hard times and I understand him very well. Nuff said.

So if there ever is going to be a HAMB-CD it will take some clever thinking and someone capable of making it happen. I guess we have the tunes and offcourse this coverpiece if its still wanted.

Anyhow, if the design cant serve its original purpose as a coversplash on a CD, then Im open for other HAMB-supportive ideas. Maybe it could serve as a t-shirt, print, christmascard or whatever(what do I know). As long as its in full-color and I can have a word in in the design dept. Im open for any idea.

Oh, and if the angry clown has an urge to actually own the original, I promise he will get first shot at it... [IMG]

This is how I pictured the cover with lettering in the upper left corner.

I found this link in the latest HMAB T-shirt thread: Cafe Express They also do CDs.Yes,it would eat into profits but there isn't the up front investment.I've never dealt with them, but Chef Zeke has.

That is fuckin' cool. Is it painted on denim or something?

  8. Hang on, this is a little farther along than Sailor mentioned. The artwork for the cover exists, as does the final line-up of tunes.

I'm on my way out the door, but here's the cover...

I'll post the song list later.

Ryan banned Fecals, like so many administrators before him, so he can't return. I'll probably see Fecals tomorrow and I'll let him know.

    Thanks guys. Canvas it is.

Big A, glad you're around and thanks for posting the lettered cover. Gotta add that Big A did all the photoshopwork on it.

why dont we grass roots this a little bit . we could take a collection for getting the twosided cover printed . . . fron art and inside art / songlist . . . then get a master copy of the disc made , and then send a copy of it to who ever wants to go into it for buying a brick of cd's , and then we could just burn them ourselves .

then once we made the 20 or whatever the amount is in t he case of discs . . . we could mail them back to who ever wants to be in charge of distributing them . . . ?

I'd like to get one of these and would be willing to help to make it happen. What needs to be done and how much $$ are we talking?

Wouldn't it be ironic to do a HAMB auction of the painting of a banned member?! Nice work...even though it's a painting of a major annoyance.

I think -Mike-s idea might work very well. Somehow I like it better than the typical "some guy do all the work -the rest pay for it" approach. Nothing wrong with this, but I believe in the DIY-way as a principle (its probably the punk in me..) because I think its a good thing if all of us is responsible for makin it happen rather than just buying the merchandise.

Barnett; on the "banned member"-thing, thats what I thought too (me and Foiled discussed to a joint dragrace between Fecals and a certain Vietnamese). Its not logical, but hopefully not easy to mix up with the tons of other hotrod-imagery out there and definatly HAMB.. [IMG]
I dont think I will auction the original just yet, ... I think I want to know who Celin Dions personal friend really was first... Maybe he can mail me, -who knows.. [IMG]

drgnwgn289; if you are talking about the race between Lil Coffin and Dragula, that was me.

This was put together so long ago that I don't even know if all these HAMBers are still around. I have the master CD and the artwork files done.

We were going to set up a Paypal deal etc etc, but with the drags, timing tags, stickers, shirts, calendars and life in general this thing got pushed off the table.

Hey, if for some reason you need any more bands, let me know... I'd like to submit some stuff from mine... we're called "Joe Jesus and the Gear Jammers" - mostly balls out punk rock'n roll stuff....

Or maybe there will be a Volume 2 cd following the original?

Actually, I don't think Zenor even knows Fecals, but he does exist!

Why not have everyone pre-order (i.e. pay for) a CD, then print them and ship 'em out?
