This may be a stupid question, but I'm new to the F-100 world so don't crucify me, haha. The rear suspension on my 61 unibody has the leaf springs, but it also has coil springs. Is this normal? I've been researching lowering it and every picture that I see of the rear suspension is just the leaf springs. Can I just remove the coils and perches? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Those coil springs are add-ons. Load helpers.

Just for your own piece of mind, make sure the frame is still straight.
