I tried catching up with Don Moyer all day but he wouldn't get out of his Willys, Ha.

That Comet is so cool! Reminds me of the Curillo Motors B/FX Comet driven by Joe Orlando from Lancaster,N.Y. back in the 60's. Was at Thompson with my 34' coupe and had a great time. Finally got that Olds mill into the 11's. Ran a 11.93 @ 111mph. My best ever. Woo Hoo!

Was looking for that elusive 10 second p***...never got it on saturday, but the wind changed and ran nothing but 10's on sunday:D

just going through some old posts and seen your comment.hope you had a good time at milan,i couldnt make it.just to let you know steve with the blew by you put another motor in his car.its a bigger sbc with a blower.i think his last run was an 9.20 at 130mph.he let off early.he was also leaving the line at an idle and just rolling into the gas till the 60ft.so im not sure if you can whip him anymore.

looks like we all have alot of work ahead of us this spring.i thinkk don is going to put some alum.indy heads on his car.the guy that orig.built his motor{jim smith,SMITTY}is building a stroker 360 with some off the wall **** in it.amc 401 crank chevy rods and pistons, edelbrock heads that are getting p&polished bigger valves ect.some HUGE 670-350 roller cam.he loves doing the weird ****.he thinks it should put out over 650hp.he has MS.and cant drive but he still want to build the motor and put it in my car and see how it works.i have a 401 that i am building that should put out the same numbers and its going to be ready just incase there is a problem with his stroker motor.my car should be pretty sick since the 360 i have in it know is only putting out about 300 to the back tires!!!!!and still lifting it up high.im sure my ets will be in the mid to low tens without a problem.the only problem will be ME!!!!
