Chopping an A roadster top, who's done it?

It probably suits the period of the build, and chopped looks pretty good.

Only thing I can see is that I think it is too high in the middle. That center bow should be lower so that it doesnt have that tall peak in the middle of the top.

JMO.

 

Did you take any pictures as to how to did this? If so could you please p*** them on as I'll be doing the same thing down the road.

Here's where the recipe... 3" out of the windshield, shortened the main irons up to the wood, 1" out of the length of the header supporting irons above either door, and 3/4" out of the secondary bow support above your head. Click on the pic for the locations.
