Well It's finally getting tolerable to spend some time in the garage.
I finally got the rearend squared up enough to get the pie crust slicks on. Still needs one final cut on the rear fenderwells.

    They are 15x4.5 no-name slots.
But they are like a 3" back space.

These seem to be from across the Pacific, I don't know anything about the company selling them, but they are listed by several different wheel vendors.

I'd look around for some old ones...but if you like buying new ****, they seem to be available

  12. Hey, car looks good, just the way I like em'. I agree on the weather, this summer was brutal here in Md. I'm hoping for some garage time, just when I seem to get a chance to wrench something pops up though. This week some idiot ricers drag racing crashed into my fence and destroyed the shed then left, the 1000 deductible sure hurts my Carlisle trip:mad:. Anyway, good luck on the wheel well radius. It would be beneficial if these aftermarket sheetmetal companies would stamp our a radiused wheel well preformed to fit with a nicely done lip. Hmm....:).

Just picked up some seats, and I have no idea what they came out of. All they guy said was they were early GM buckets. Pretty happy with these, and here is a photo of my front wheels for Lorodz. Hope you find a set dude!

Jerry, those seats look like they may have come from a mid 60's t-bird.I could be wrong. The 55 is looking good.

  22. The seats are strato, mid sixties GM, look to me like Buick or Olds covers, they always look good in a Tri-Five.

Did you move the rear spring inside the frame? There sure isn't much room for a big tire on a stock 55.

Great project, I am looking forward to future updates. What transmission are you going to use?

    Thanks.

Looking good. Funny how in the northeast, we wait for winter to do the majority of work on our cars ( can't drive them in the snow) and you guys have to suffer with the hot summers. Keep up the good work, and keep the pictures coming.

And for some reason I feel the need to let everyone know that my small block DID NOT come from a corvette!
Man I must be the only one not using a vette motor
