Get a yoke that doesn't have a bolt hole in it.

I have welded up the hole & used the bolt-on as a slip yoke with no problems.

Should be able to. They made a few different styles...try not to get the one that has the long sleeve at the front, and the vent hole in the back, as it's designed to be used with an O ring on the output shaft.

    nope, should be too small.

  11. I got a yoke for mine from Inland Impire drive shafts, but you would have to replace the output shaft and tail housing to convert it to regualar. I found out the hard way.

  17. I tried to put a regular th400 yoke in that trans I have and it bottomed out after only going in a few inches. When I matched up the depth it went in just as long as the bolt on yoke was, which is about half as long as the regular yoke. If I remember the yoke wasn't splined all the way to the end like a regular yoke either.

Check out my thread about this yoke http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=177928
