Hello from Afghanistan (and Texas)

hows it going everyone? I am currently deployed to Afghanistan so there are no custom cars out here besides armored trucks.

I have had a few cars in my 23 yrs, did a body off mild restoration to a '83 CJ7, then built a air bagged '97 F150, shaved everything minus tail lights, gas lid and mirrors, then built my last truck '07 Ford Ranger into a off road truck(for the desert, gutted, caged, 12-19" of wheel travel) all of which have been sold before i was satisfied with them.

next project (hopefully) is a '20s to Early '40s car or truck. just have to see if i can find one when i am on R&R. Since all of my previous cars have been more fun than practical, i plan to keep that same theme going and just have something fun to drive and go cruising with friends.

Thanks all, it is a unique situation i am in out here to say the least, i am in the Aviation side of the US Navy in a land locked country, no where near an airfield.
