Description:

Since 1994, the event's agenda is packed with more than enough to do all three days. Included are 1,500 street rods and more than 60 commerical exhibitors selling and displaying their wares, vintage parts swap meet, arts and crafts show, games and entertainment. Throughout the weekend, including during the awards program, tens of thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be given to the car owners and a brand new vehicle will be given away

 

took the camper up to the fairgrounds this morning. going back up with the hot rod and friends tomorrow morning. campground super said he stopped taking reservations the first of the week. probably going to be a big hole in vender area without yearwoods display.

 

Preacher,we need to do a HAMB meet and greet.....

 

Doug, did you say you are going to be "Trail Boss" for meet and greet ?
Friday, the Ladies have a "Tea" at 2:00. Good time for us to get togeather ?

 

I am only going to be there Saturday.....

 

I was lucky to attend this event a few years ago. Made the Kalamazoo event, then up to Canada and then Burlington. 6000 miles round trip, hope to do it again soon. Anyway, Burlington is the most hotrod friendly town I have been in I believe. Instead of getting cutoff in traffic, as is common elsewhere, we were waved in and at, with big smiles. Good folks there.

 

Doug, you pick the time for Sat. A suggestion for location would be gate entering Swap Meet.

I won't be able to make it up until late on Saturday, but I will look for the survivor Nomad!

Was my first year attending went early on Friday hoping to get some good stuff at the swap. Saw a body kit for a civic, said to myself this is a joke back to the vendors exhibit (bought a so-cal beam instead )<O</O

But other than that it was a pretty good show for this close to home (next year I am def going on Saturday)<O</O

Been to a few Carlisle shows so I am used to a bigger show\swap meet<O

 

I went it was a grate show. Weather Sat and Sun was perfect. I was told it was a record setter for cars and paid attendance.
