Projects Anyone here building a 1955-57 GMC?

    Not sure yet what to do with mine, hoping for some inspirational pictures from you all. This is my first project~ :eek:

    I will eventually build one, my dad has a 57 100 that has been in our family all my life and i have always wanted one to mate up to his. Here is a few inspiration pics i have saved... some of them are Suburbans but they will still inspire! Good Luck and keep us posted. ;)

    keep in mind that it's also possible to build one in a more traditional way, so it's not laying on the ground :)

    Very true, but it is nice to see the full spectrum from mild to wild, all the while gathering thoughts and ideas from each one to turn into a personal creation. :)

    Here's a GMC truck of my friend Kevin that we did at my old shop in Calif. Lengthen the bed and widen it to make the dually fit to look factory look ! It was his grandfathers truck GMC !

    Here's my Big Window (it's for sale, BTW) that I built this past year. I had to have a 57 with that one-year-only grille. Drives great with upgraded chassis and drivetrain, and gets lots of attention wherever I go with it. You will be amazed how fast that parts tab adds up. The chrome on the nose is what makes these trucks!
