Damn, that kicks ass Jerry, I'm thrilled for ya! What a cool piece, the chrome grille, even the body color looks great just as it sits... Sumbitch is welded right to the frame!

Luckily.the whole thing is not welded to the frame..just in the back near the wheel wells. For the rest of the body there are tabs all around the bottom.

I think I like the wheelbase..doesn't bother me..looks much better without the fenders and with the right set of wheels

    Congratulations on becoming a 32 3W owner :)

Cool old coupe ... but the side cowl vents and the addition to the rear bustle just DOES NOT LOOK right to me ...

I would have to change those back to a more original look ... ( with the cutout for the fuel neck )
    ... but you have a neat little 32 ... :D :D

You're right, Jerry, the patina is great. Do you think you can leave it alone? Imagine...no paint to mess up. I even kinda dig the bucket seats. I can see leaving a lot of this thing as is. Fantastic score! Enjoy!

Man, this thing keeps getting better and better!!!! You should leave the front stance where it is and bring the back down a bit....after all it might get one of those drag motors you were talking about and the buckets scream mid 60's!!!!

    It's absolutely awesome.

I'd leave the rollpan the way it is. I think it looks neat bobbed and rolled under. What's it gonna hurt? Besides, it will be safer with a fuel cell in the trunk anyway.

  22. No intention to hijack this thread, but this is the one I picked up last month. 60's build, 4" chop 8" channel, 324 Olds, lots of chrome. It has been sitting for over 30 years, I hope to have it running soon. The funky Keystones were the first thing taken off.

Had a cool evening. One of the original owners of the car, Mike, stopped by the shop tonight to check out the 32. He hadn't see the car in about 20 or so years and I invited him over so I could pick his brain about the history after learning that he had it on the road at one point. He also brought along some photos of the car when he had it on the road in the early 80's which he gave to me so I could make some copies. He enjoyed walking around and checking it out...and even asked if he could sit in it to reminice. I was happy to let him do what he wanted.

Got some really nice photos of him with it and also learned alot about the car. He was able to provide me with info back before he got the car in Lewistown,Pa. It was Mike's daily driver for awile....he had a hopped up chevy motor in it with a muncie which he said he beat the hell out of. He had cragers on it and ran the fenders and bumpers on it that came with the car. He also had the yellow 5 window in the picture too...which he no longer has. Turns out the seats and cowl vents were out of a T-bird...which came with the car when Mike got it.

It was pretty neat talking to him and watching him look it over....he said he had some great memories driving it.

Here are some pics of him checking it out and also some of the pics he gave me to copy
