I wasn't actually paying much attn at that time, but I think the 'flaked blue chopped Chev sedan was "Best Custom", SingleFinger Garage's Model A roadster on Duece rails "Best Hot Rod". "Best Truck" was a Model A pickup, but I'm not sure which one it was (?). Club pick was the beautiful red Crown Vic.

Look closer... Fool you once, shame on you. Fool you twice, shame on you again. I did a quickie ebay search, several RR engine/trans combos for crate motor prices.

Not really "judged", but the Relix's killer trophies (Crafty B's in particular, wish I'd taken a picture) were AMAZING. I think it's more of a "Well, that's really cool" type of award than being "judged" as in a concours type event, but I'm not in the club and don't really know. Besides, I didn't even really know who "won"...

NO member of the Relix are eligable for ANY of the trophies nor can participate in the pin up contest. We make the trophies and we pick the winners for them.

I like the new date much better! It seems nearly impossible to find a date that won't interfere with another event.

As for the blue chebby being a member, no.

Two chops, flyinbrian has it right. The best custom was the blue metalflake chevy, the best hot rod was the singlefinger model A roadster on duece rails, the Relix pick was the red 56 ford Vic with the canadian grille, and the Gilmore pick was a black A coupe with a nailhead.

it will be hard to decide - HAMB drags or Relix Riot - but the Relix show is really fun - and actually closer for me by about 3 hours.......
I think the date change is good and will try to support this show fer sure

Thanks for the pics everyone! I ****, I couldn't make it this year.
My 7yo beagle slipped and fell down the ba*****t steps, late sat. night.
She compressed 3 discs in her back.:( Spent most of sun. at the vet, racking up a $530 dollar bill.
