Well, Tagman and I rolled the Falcon outside Sat. to get some new pics. Still lots to do - engine, trans., steering, fenderwell headers, ladderbars, etc., but I'm happy with the progress so far. It's rolling again anyways!
I love it! Looks really good. I can't think of a better way to treat a Falcon wagon. I hope I get to see that run down the strip someday.
Awsome car, I have a 64 falcon wagon, and would love to do that to it, but the wife likes it how it is. Your car and a 61 sedan I saw at GoodGuys DesMoines are probably the best 2 looking Falcons I have seen in a long time. Great looking car!!!
Thanks Guys! Hey Ed, I've got an idea. Give the 64 to your wife for Valentines Day. Then get yourself another Falcon, and build it the way you want! Use the 64 as your tow car. No ? Oh well, it worked for a friend of mine once.......LOL
Did you just cut out the stock front susp & weld the straight axle stuff in on the front clip, or did you lop off the whole stock front clip & build a tube frame? I can't tell from the pics. Looks good! *edit* I just saw your other post- I can see you used the stock clip.
The "momentum" is sometimes dictated by the weather around here, this time of year. When the temp gets in the 0-20 degree area, its hard to heat the garrage up, and I lose motivation ! I expect to get alot done this summer.
Did you see the article in Hemmings Muscle Machines this month on the Falcon gasser? Very nice article, and they show some of the restoration back to the condition it was in "in the day".
Autmotive Stud - 351c with tunnel ram, for now. Oddjob2- Yeah, I was just looking at that artical today....pretty neat!!!
