I am new to the street rod buisness and I am looking for a good street rod /hot rod parts supplier in the Detroit Michagan area. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Well Newb: Truth is the Motor City is mostly Mustang -Camaro City. I know a lot of people will disagree with me but it is HARD to find a lot of rod building things around here. Have to get them from CAL. or Speedway or make them yourself. I've been in racing and building for about 35 years (hobby only) and have searched for a lot of parts. But now the internet is a big help. My 2 cents.

Th only "hot rod" place I cannot think of, I think they are new I saw an add for them on craigslist under search 30 Ford I think. Most of the speedshops are closed down even, all 3 in my local area have closed down in the last I would say 2 years. Now depending on what parts you need, I have some Model A part I want to get rid of, along with I know a few contacts around here who basically have any part you can imagine in their garages/barns. PM me if interested.

You really must be a newb....
Haven't you looked in your own backyard yet? Welder series in Breslau, horton's in Mississauga, "the CANDYMAN" in Kingston, the Roadmates swapmeet, the Waterdown swap meet the London swapmeet, just for a few starters. Start searching on your own. There's more than you ever thought of right around you!
