The '54 Ford's floor isn't exactly flat where the new seats will mount so you will have to do some fab work,I am in the process of putting late 80's Mustang buckets in my '54 Customline they sat a little too low so will need about a 1 1/2" to 2" spacer to level them up,also do your self a favor and get a set of drill stops so you don't do what I did when I drilled new mounting holes, the bit when down too far and hit the brake line that runs along the outside of the frame. For more help on your project join the 1952-56 Ford social group here on the HAMB with over 400+ members we can share a lot of build ideas, click on "Your Notifications" up top when it flashes, please do a "new guy" intro and tell us about your ride when you get there, send our member skoh73 a pm and He can add you to the members map.
