  4. I got a good FE out in the yard. Its wrapped up in some mid '60s sheetmetal. For what you'd pay for a good FE you could have thisone and have the sheetmetal left over to sell. :D
    Hi-jack sorry.
I used to visit an FE board http://groups.msn.com/TheFordFEGarage/homepage.msnw
they had pretty good info. But it wasn't near as personal as the HAMB, never got real comfortable there. I think its a personal thing.
    Anyway its worth a look.

    Kart,
I've got a 428 in my old Model A, had to look several years to find one. I found it in an old '67 Thunderbird. A lot of these gave up their crankshaft to guy's with 427's. With a 428 crank it strokes one up to 454 cu. in. Any FE's are starting to get pretty scarce around here.

If you haven't already, you might want to check out the FE forum at club cobra

It's pretty biased toward the 427, but it's worth checking out. For my money it's worth taking a look just on account of the few 427 SOHC pics floating around on there.
There's also a bunch of links on there.
