Whats up everyone? i'm a complete newbie to this hot rod thing but not to cars at all. i'm probably the only one on here that came from the import drag racing world (or the only one that will admit it ) after spending so much money on a car that doesn't get much use, i have come to realize that i wanted to build something that i could drive almost daily and actually have fun with but can stay out of trouble with aswell. i have always loved the hot/rat (i know, i know) rods and wanted to build one but no one that i know is into them. so i never had a chance to absorb any knowledge about building one or what parts work with what. rewind to a few weeks ago. i was lucky enough to attend the steeltown shakedown and that was it. i was officially on the lookout for a project now. and wouldn't you know it, a week or so later i found a 36 ford wrecker just over an hour away. gotta love craigslist! well that's where i'm at now. i've been reading as much as i can on this site. some of you guys have talent that is truely awe inspiring. i'm gonna try to be as much as a sponge as i can around you guys.
