Here is one of the latest projects coming out of a local shop, crossram BBC 4 speed. He is working on a smaller rear wheel/mini tub. The owner has another 55 2 door post BBC 4spd Gasser that ran around town back in the 60's, I don't know what he sees in these damn things
Looks good,,but that tank on the front is too big,,it distracts from the gasser look,,just my opinion. HRP
i like it, and i need a tank that big on mine 3 1/2 gallon doesnt let me run without a refill about every round
He built it to occasionally drive on the street, with the thirsty beast BBC he said he didn't want to have to run to the station and remix and miss any of the fun the fun. Without the exhaust it really pounds on your chest standing next to it. I think its as finished as its going to get for awhile. This was a 6 month "quicky", Bill has a couple long term projects just to finish yet. This is one of Bill's other bowties with his wife driving. This is a street racer from back in the day around Billings. Yes its an old/worn lace paint job. It took a while but he convinced the previous owner to sell it so he could put it back in service. This was reportedly one of the local terrors back in the 60's, all the old guys smile and reminisce about watching it race when they were in grade/high school. One night in the shop Bill was asked if he was going to fix the cloudy and worn paint "fuck em thats the way I remember it and thats the way its stayin" Photos courtesy of "dryden" and this link http://www.burnthepoint.com/gallery.htm
