  1. As a part of the Singlefinger crew - a rather brash controversial rogue bunch of Engineer / car guys, we like to mess with each other.
Our pal the Highlander has two rather "sacred" car projects; a 61 Bel-Air bubble top and a early 50's GM pickup.. So over a bit of Bourbon, Safari Wagon and I decided to combine them - on paper - to help Jocko clean up his shop and free up more floor space...

As for the A Bone-r Truck, Well, same bourbon and a desire to create as much bodywork for Scotty as possible out of an A truck cab and a T Box...

    Whatta-ya think?

I recently finished this 56 Olds table to finish out my display for a local Automotive/Mechanical art show here in Billings.

Another great show! Can't take credit for the pic but, I thought it would work in leather.

I've been motivated by the work of "smarjoram" seen here on the FAS. Did some sketchs from some photographs I took and they turned into quick little paintings Going to the Pumpkin' Run this afternoon to do some on site sketching.

    Hope you like them.

Where is Phred, haven't seen any postings from him for a while and miss his humor.

Very Cool Bomonster! I love mid 50's DeSoto's with their very thirsty Hemi's.

    I am not worthy. :(

In one way you guys/grrls stuff is awesomely inspiring, in another way I just want to drop the Rapidographs like the Lucas Voltage Reg on my '74 MG.

I am sooooo blown away by the stuff posted here.

Here is my first submission to the Friday Art Show.
    An olde skool Grumpy's Toy.

    MORE "SCRATCHBOARD TALK" WITH BOMONSTER...

Hi Doc, I use a #16 Xacto blade which has a flatter surface than the common #11 blades. It is possible to make tiny corrections with a 0.1 Staedtler black pigment liner and rescratch and hide with Krylon acrylic spray but my impossible goal is try not to make mistakes. I spend three times the hours on my "work up" drawing than I do on the actual 4 hour scratchboard drawing. And I've done my share of "do overs" - including this week's posting.

Fantastic work everyone! Here's my small contribution, a carved and tooled, hand stitched bi-fold leather wallet I made.
