Event Coverage FALL FIASCO: The SWANX Are at it Again!!!!! You BETTER BE THERE October 9th!!!

It looks like the Swanx aren't tooting their own horn enough. Or ,maybe they're too busy "tooting their horns" (if you know what I mean) to post much about the Fall Fiasco.

Here's the flyer. Be there! Register your car and get one of the br*** plaques that I'm hand making for the event!!!!

So I'm, tooting it for my favorite California Billetproof host club!

 

Will be there... dont know if I'll have a car for the show, but will be there none the less.

KIRK!, you are my dash plaque hero ...thanks for helping to get the ball rolling.
The vintage style dash plaques are a replica of an acid etched trophy plaque used by our parent chapter, The Swanx of Oakland, from 1952 until around 1960.
They will truely be a sight to behold, and the first 50 registered cars will receive one, along with a Pulled Pork sandwich meal, all for the paltry sum of $15.00.
Combine that with two kick *** bands, a great DJ, cool trophies, vendors and raffle prizes, and a bunch of amazing Hot Rods and Customs...you cant go wrong!
Oh Yea, Show T shirts will be available and spectators are free!
Hang out with old friends, make some new friends...no at***udes allowed!

I am driving out from Ohio next week in the Street Rodder '27 roadster pick-up to kick off the Sherm's Plating Road Tour. We are starting in Sacramento Sat eve. Oct 9 and spending the week doing visits and shop tours as we make our way to the Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield the following weekend. I am getting into the Sacramento area Friday so I will try to get over to Fairfield Sat morning to check things out. Looks like fun.

 

WE would love to have you. Hell we'll even feed you lunch.

The above picture is Steve-O's 22 day roadster...almost everyone in the club had a hand in this one. He brought over the Cabriolet body, an Olds motor/trans, and most of a frame that he bought from Jive Bomber, and 22 days later it was on the road to its first show!

 

I won't be making it this year, my dad is still in icu in Oregon. Been up here since Aug. 4th it's been a long bumpy road. Have fun guys.

I'm hopin I can swindle somebody into workin for me so I can make it!

 

Is there a year cutoff? I can't see one on the flyer.

 

We try to keep it traditional HAMB Style with a few muscle cars thrown in.
Our cutoff is usually right around 1970, what have you got?
Cool stuff always has a place at the Fiasco.
Other than that, no Buicks with 26" wheels, etc...
Cl***ics and pre-1970's appearing Bikes also welcome.
