We all have different tastes in trucks. The black one has had a lot of work done to it, but IMO they spoiled the classic lines/flow of a great looking truck.

It's his truck though, so have at it.

 

I'm guessing the black truck started out like one of these:

 

Correct. He had the progress pix there, and that's exactly what it started life as. He has the original grille, offered to sell it to me. Not sure it'll fit my opening though. His seems larger. Then again, the entire truck seems larger.

 

I think "Frances" My old work truck in kind of COOL ...




But She is getting old and a little gray around the back of the cab....

Just got it together. 1955 gmc 370 cab mounted on 1980 1 ton chevy wedge bed chassis. 400 sbc 4spd. Old firetruck cab with only 4340 orig miles. Being Cool while transporting.

Here's my 40 chevy. Got it running this week and couldn't resist a little trip around the block. It will have fenders (and doors).
