hey new kid from saint louis mo. looking to buy my first rod. lookin to absorb as much info from guys who have done it before as humanly possible.
well 21 years old, started at a shop just a few months ago never had the time or money to get a rod until now. was in pretty bad car wreck totaling my car and it came as a sign to stop screwing around with cheap crap cars. Im also a working musician and artist, needed something reliable and big for gear and such. I was born and raised on american muscle (dad had a 71 charger he used to let me help fix). and figured with everything lining up as it was it was time to get something that piece by piece i can turn in to a hot rod that im proud to own and keep for a very long time. Not as interested in the old muscle cars as i am the more classic hot rods, but if its big powerful old and loud its still pretty much the most gorgeous thing ever.
Welcome to the H.A.M.B............from Arkansas City, KS. Depending upon your wallet, and do-it-yourself experience's, will quite probably help you in your selection. Just remember to buy as much of a Car as possible, a bit here and a bit there soon adds up to be way more, than what you thought that a all-together car was worth. Good Luck and exercise patience, and listen to others that have already gone through it. firstnomad www.angelfire.com/jazz/flatlandstudio
