They're here. They look nice. Was supposed to have baffels and don't but at this point I don't care. Just happy to have them. I propped them up on the car for the photo so everyone can see. I was so surprised when they came, even though I had a tracking number and Dan called to say they were coming, I was still surprised. Extra special thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.. I'll be pulling my complaint from the Washington A.G.

Wow another Ebay Nightmare. Im 17 and I coulda knocked those headers out for ya. Those headers there arent that hard to make fellas. One question Why buy it when you could have easily built them. Those headers would have takin a total of 5 hours for an unexperienced fabricator to make and speedway motors sells all of the smooth bends that you need to buy. You would prolly have a total of $150 into them when totally built if even that much. If you cant weld then umm...I dont think you should be building a hot rod haha.

I got screwed out of $400 on a freakin pickup bed from a guy with the name of StreetRod Warehouse on ebay. Took my money and he did the same thing, kept saying there coming but a year later nothing. He did this to a couple people also. If I met him today I would totally take a bar to his head until I got my moneys worth of a beating but hey thats just ebay for you. After that mess I saw a friend selling a bed side at a local swap meet I picked it up and a tailgate and had a whole god damn bed in 4 hours coulda save me alot of time and trouble if I did that from the start. Now I build what I need rather than buying it. Just my knowledge on this whole subject. -Jon

Well I learned a lesson. I was wishing I had just built them before it was all over. That's a '53 Cadillac engine. Pretty hard to find flanges for it, at least it was then and I just figured I'd be doing this guy a favor paying him to do it. If all had gone well I'd have my headers and would have supported a fellow fabricator. Nothing wrong with that. I don't mind paying someone to do something, if they do it well. It's what allows some folks to make a living in this business. I'm all for that. There's a lot I "can" do that I'm happy to pay someone else to do, if they do it well..

In your book he's a stand up guy?! Stand up guys (or girls) dont give excuses and not deliver. I have so little patience for people like this. I could never get away with acting like that to my customers. Its just ridiculousness.

I paid for a set of headers from Dan king king speed-n-custom on march 1st 2010 they were for a 455 olds so I had to contact him directly for a custom order. They were going to be a gift to my father for his rat rod. after about 3 months he would no longer take my calls. I contacted the Washington State Attorney generals office and filed a complaint. He would not respond to them they recently contacted me telling me there was nothing else they could do for me. If any body has any kind of line on this guy I would appreciate any info I could get he needs a complete ass whipping but I would be satisfied with filing a complaint with the Spokane pd and getting him busted.

A lot of harsh opinions flying around here. I feel some empathy for this dude, cottage industries sufer many times when they enjoy sales success, usually small staff and labor intensive products. It is a catch 22 for sure. I hope this all smooths out and everyone is properly compensated. I don't think malicious intent was the motive here. Good Luck to all. ~Sololobo~
