I just took the basic metal shaping cl*** at Walden Speed Shop in Pomona. Man it was *****in! First of all Bobby Walden is a GREAT guy. If you ever see him at a show stop and talk with him you wont regret it. He's a funny laid back Texan. This guy knows his stuff. If you dont know him, he has been building cars for 25 years. I think he used to work at SoCal Speed shop. The cl*** covered the basics of metal shrinking and stretching with hand tools as well as power tools. Also learned how to tig weld. This cl*** was perfect for a guy like me that likes to start with basics. Bobby was incredibly patient with my thousand questions a minute. I could go on all day but I wont. Great cl***. Great People. Take this cl***.
Bobby is an awesome, laid back guy and really p***ionate about his work. I'd send a 17 year old without hesitation...
The cl*** would be perfect for any age from teens to old age. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Bobby gives you hands on one-on-one training. No question is too small. I hope he has a next level cl*** someday. We had about six guys in cl*** including a bloke who flew over from England for the cl***. Cant say enough about it.
yes Bobby is awesome!! Jim and i had a good time. i learned so much in that time there. to learn the basics was great. that way you know you can do if you dont have all the cool tools!! it was really a hands on cl***. you got to use every machine in the shop if need to do what you were messing with. Bobby also had one of his employees come in too. Blake was awesome also. both were very helpful in everything we were doing. im glad i took this cl*** and do hope he does have a next level cl***.
when is the next cl***? and what the price for taking the cl***? is there a number to contact for signing up?
